BOS is a Mac app that gives an owner-run small business a team of AI assistants for office work. They answer new leads, book appointments, send and chase invoices, reply to reviews and run a small online shop. Every email, invoice, refund or price change waits for the owner to approve it.
It's for businesses of one to about ten people where the owner is also the office: trades and home services, salons and studios, makers and small shops.
Runs on a Mac with Apple silicon and macOS 26 (Tahoe)
"Hi Dana, a reminder that invoice INV-1042 for the spring backflow test is 14 days past due. Here's the link to pay."
Example. Names made up.
A plumber, a hairdresser or a candle maker is usually also the receptionist, the bookkeeper and the marketer. That work happens at night, and some of it never happens: leads go cold and invoices go unpaid.
Admin takes hours a week away from paid work, and the owner can't afford office staff.
A team of AI assistants does that admin from the tools the owner already uses, and hands back finished work.
Every decision that reaches a customer or moves money. Nothing is sent, charged or refunded without the owner's approval.
We mark every feature with where it stands, so nothing here reads as live when it isn't.
The owner types a request ("Who owes me money?", "Fill Thursday afternoon") and the Chief of Staff splits it into tasks for the right teammates.
Emails, texts, invoices, refunds and price changes arrive as approval cards. The owner can let a routine kind of task run on its own; price changes always ask.
Invoices go out with a Stripe payment link, and overdue ones get a drafted reminder for the owner to approve.
Customer records, a booking page that writes into the BOS calendar, and plain answers about what was billed, taken and is still owed.
Product and landing pages in 40 looks, with card payments through Stripe. Words that make a claim about the business are checked before they go live.
Gmail and Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, QuickBooks, Square and Slack, each with a normal sign-in. This is what lets BOS answer leads and sort the inbox.
Say yes to an approval card by replying to a text, away from the Mac.
A hosted version that keeps working when the owner's Mac is closed.
Every BOS teammate is Claude with a job description and a short list of BOS tools it may use. BOS keeps the records, runs the tools and holds back anything external until the owner approves it.
The owner's request in plain words, plus only the business records that task needs:
The Chief of Staff (Claude) breaks the request into tasks and hands each to a teammate (also Claude, with a narrower role). The teammate looks things up through BOS's tools, then writes the result:
Finished work, not suggestions to copy and paste:
Which models. Owners can connect their own Claude plan; then every teammate runs on Claude Haiku, Sonnet and Opus through Anthropic's Claude Agent SDK. Owners who pay with BOS's prepaid credits use BOS's own AI service instead: Claude Sonnet and Opus do the main work, and small, simple jobs may go to lower-cost models from other providers. Short yes-or-no checks, such as "is this sentence a price claim?", use a small separate decision model. No model ever sees the owner's passwords.
Each teammate has one job and only the tools that job needs. A teammate can't send or charge anything on its own.
Takes the owner's requests and hands out the work.
Keeps follow-ups and loose ends from slipping.
Keeps the books and chases what's owed.
Answers leads and keeps the calendar.
Drafts posts and replies to reviews.
Turns the business's numbers into answers.
Helps the owner decide what to offer and how prices read, when asked.
Builds a new tool when the team needs one it doesn't have.
BOS is not on sale yet. Here is what exists today, what happens next and what comes after.
Traction: none yet. BOS has no customers and no revenue. The first numbers will come from the alpha.
BOS does routine office work for a business. Some things are outside that, on purpose.
BOS is sold to business owners. It isn't made for, or marketed to, anyone under 18.
BOS doesn't give legal, tax, medical or investment advice. It keeps records, drafts messages and prepares paperwork for the owner.
Invoices, payments and refunds go through Stripe, and each one waits for the owner's yes. BOS doesn't lend, trade or hold money.
BOS isn't built to store patient health records or to run legal casework.

No. You talk to BOS the way you'd talk to a new hire. Connecting your email or payments is a normal sign-in, like logging into a website.
No, not unless you decide a kind of task may run on its own. Anything that reaches a customer or moves money waits for your approval, and you can see every step the team took.
A Mac with Apple silicon running macOS 26 (Tahoe). The email, calendar and payment services you already use connect with a sign-in as they switch on during the alpha.
You'd be one of the first people using it. Things will break and change quickly. When something is wrong or missing, type @developer in any chat in the app and the note goes straight to the BOS developers.
Not yet. The alpha is free and by invitation. Pricing comes with the wider beta.
We're inviting a small group of owner-run businesses for the alpha. Tell us what your business does and what you'd hand BOS first.
Include what your business does, how many people work in it, and which Mac you use.
